  • Test is of two types: Academic & General Test.
  • Receive score after 2 weeks from the day of the paper based test.
  • Receive score after 5 -7 days from the day of the computer based test
  • The Test can be taken as per the scheduled test dates published by The British Council and IDP Australia.
  • The score ranges from 0 to 9 bands.
  • The score is valid for 2 years

What is IELTS?

IELTS (International English Language Testing System)  is of the most popular Language test which is accepted by more than 10,000 organisations in over 140  countries. Those organisations include governments, academic institutions and employers with 3,000 in the USA alone.

Which IELTS test should I take?

You can take different types of IELTS exam. Weather you are planning to apply to study abroad, get the job you’ve always wanted or just demonstrate that you have improved your English.  Depending on this you can chose your test module.

Take this test if you want to  tudy abroad in English  Language speaking country.

 

IELTS General Training Test

Take this test to study at below degree level, work in an English speaking country or your own country and emigrate to an English speaking country.

 

Work or study in The UK?
If you are looking to work or study in UK, you may need to apply for a UK Visa and demonstrate that you have met the required level of English by taking a Home Office approved Secure English Language Test (SELT), such as IELTS for UKVI (Academic and General Training) or IELTS Life Skills.

Can I Cancel my IELTS date ?

If an original medical certificate confirming illness on the date of the test is provided within five working days of the test date, together with the Request for Refund or Test Date Transfer Form, the fee is refundable, minus an administration fee of 25% of the test fee.

Are there any IELTS test rules?

You can find a list of test rules and guidelines on the ‘Notice to Candidates’ segment provided in the IELTS application form. You are also advised to read the ‘Information for Candidates’ booklet carefully so that you understand the test format and know what to expect on the test day.

Is there age limit to take IELTS test?

IELTS test is not recommended for candidates under 16 years. However, if you wish to take the test, you may.

Do I take all parts of the test on the same day?

The Listening, Reading and Writing components of the test are always completed immediately after each other and with no break.

You will do the Listening component first followed by the Reading and Writing components of the test.
